Some pit bull advocates like to jump on the Atts test and fly the pit bulls good temperament. What these people do not understand is that this only adds to the danger of the breed. Misplaced trust based on good temperament has been a factor in many fatal attacks. Some pit bulls have passed more than one temperament test only to later kill a child in their own family. Pit Bull owners like to say how sweet their pit bull is and one of the most common statements after a fatal attack is the dog had never shown any signs of aggression before. Deception is a good trait for any killer.
