Friends of the father of the 14-month-old toddler that was fatally attacked by pit bulls in a Town of Walworth home yesterday have set up a memorial fund, according to a story on WISN12 News.
The Daxton Borchardt Memorial Fund has been established through Associated Bank.
The boy’s father, Jeff Borchardt, is a DJ known as Mix Master Bogart at the Reddroom, a bar in Elkhorn.
The boy was attacked at the home of his babysitter, who owned the dogs. The animals were euthanized.
The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation into the boy’s death is ongoing.
